| Tips: Access to the rings and cross country course is on a first
come basis, unless reserved for a show. (check the Equiery) The ring has
a few jumps and barrels available for schooling, and the cross country
has a wooden bridge to cross, and logs, coops, brush box and split
rail verticals to jump on a rolling course. Nothing too scary. This is a
multi-use park, there will be tennis, basket ball, softball and soccer
going on. Trails are horse-person-dog only, no bikes! Be sure to check
out the beaver dams and lodges.
There is a main trail in the woods, and several smaller off trails,
some go to private property, so be careful! There is a wider trail that
crosses the stream, and ends up on a road. turn right up the road until
you get to the power lines, then you can follow the power lines for a
while if you want to add miles to the ride. When you get to the first
steep gully into a creek, turn around and go back.
The fields have galloping lanes mowed in them that criss-cross the
park. Watch your speed, some of them dead end in the soccer fields!
